The new high-end smart new energy vehicle (NEV) brand Qijing (启境) was formally unveiled on November 20, 2025, at the Huawei Qiankun Ecosystem Conference. The brand’s launch marks the first project in Huawei Qiankun’s new "Jing" (Realm) series, a collaborative model that moves beyond traditional supplier relationships. Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei personally proposed the brand name, which translates to "Opening a New Realm."
The Qijing brand was formally announced on September 19, 2025, following the signing of an expanded cooperation agreement between the two companies in November 2024.

Qijing will launch its first vehicle, a mid-to-large luxury model, in 2026, positioning itself in the fiercely competitive 300,000 CNY to 400,000 CNY (c. $42,370 to c. $56,490) segment. This price bracket accounts for over 50% of the market share for traditional international brands and high-end gasoline vehicles in China.
The brand plans to launch two new vehicles in 2026, one SUV and one sedan, with the first model scheduled for market debut and delivery in June 2026.

The collaboration structure involves a high degree of integration, with joint teams achieving co-located offices and maintaining a "zero-delay" decision-making mechanism at the executive level.
Huawei is responsible for the full-stack intelligent technology solutions, including the L3-level smart architecture, while GAC handles the vehicle R&D and manufacturing. The brand has incorporated Huawei's mature IPD (Integrated Product Development) and IPMS (Integrated Product Marketing Service) systems to ensure quality and efficiency across the entire development chain.

Qijing’s CEO, Liu Jiaming, stated that the brand prioritizes product safety, affirming, "We would rather invest surplus resources to ensure absolute certainty." The brand’s battery testing standards reportedly exceed national standards in several dimensions, including water immersion and salt spray resistance.
The first vehicle, a shooting brake sedan/coupe, will be equipped with the Huawei Qiankun Smart Full-Stack solution. It will be available in both pure electric (BEV) and extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) powertrain versions. The model aims for performance levels comparable to "million-yuan imported performance wagons" and will carry the HarmonyOS cockpit system.
Conversion rate: 1 USD = 7.0804 CNY as of November 27, 2025
