All-new Nissan N7, powered by Momenta ADAS, reportedly to hit market in May 2025

The Dongfeng Nissan N7 first debuted at the 2024 Guangzhou Auto Show, held from November 15 to 24, captivating the attention of many in China with its promising design.
The N7 was recently included in the latest Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) catalogue of upcoming vehicle releases and is reportedly to hit the Chinese market in May 2025.

The Nissan N7 is expected to be priced between 150,000 and 200,000 CNY and may compete against the BYD Han.
Coming from a joint-venture brand, many Chinese consumers have claimed the N7 to be the best-designed JV new energy vehicle to date.

The Nissan N7 is the production-ready model of the four EV/PHEV concepts unveiled at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show.
The vehicle’s side profile follows the “golden ratio” of 0.618, a mathematical ratio often found in nature and art that is known as aesthetically pleasing.

The frameless doors, hidden door handles, concealed waistline contribute to an ultra-low drag coefficient of 0.208 Cd.
For context, the newest Model 3 “Highland” features a drag coefficient of 0.219 Cd, the most aerodynamic Tesla vehicle ever produced.

The taillight features an intelligent lighting system that enables customizable light patterns and messages, thanks to 710 LED and 882 OLED lights.
The interior cabin is powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip, 32GB of memory, and 256GB of storage.

The N7 is equipped with the advanced Momenta intelligent driving assistance system, featuring highway pilot NOA, urban memory pilot NOA, and full-scene intelligent parking.
Nissan understands the Chinese consumers' preference for spacious interiors. The N7 measures 4930mm in length, 1895mm in width, and 1487mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2910mm, and is equipped with 19-inch wheels, providing ample space for the Chinese families.

The "million-level" AI zero-pressure cloud blanket seats are another standout feature of the N7. With 49 sensors and adaptive posture AI algorithms, the seats automatically adjust the backrest, lumbar support, and leg support, providing precise body support and comfort.
Dongfeng also has a joint-venture partnership with Honda, which is also readying for its next-generation NEV lineup under the Honda Ye brand.
In late December, we learned that Nissan and Honda have formally agreed to hold talks over the next 6 months on a possible merger between the two groups, which would create the world’s 3rd largest automaker to compete with Chinese carmakers.
