On March 21, BYD's premium brand Denza officially launched its flagship SUV, the Denza N9, with two variants of the e3 three-electric-motor — Prestige and Flagship models, with an official price range of 389,800 – 449,800 RMB, significantly lower than the previous estimated range of 450,000 – 550,000 RMB.

The Denza N9 is built on BYD’s e-Platform 3.0, which integrates independent three-motor drive, dual-motor independent rear-wheel steering, vehicle motion control (VMC), and Cell-to-Body (CTB) technologies.

This delivers staggering performance with acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, a combined range of 1,302 km, and a fuel consumption of just 6.3L/100 km when out of charge.

This platform also provides industry-leading handling agility: a turning radius of 4.62 meters, comparable to subcompact car, supports 360-degree pivot turns, 15-degree lateral “crab walk," and all-scenario autonomous parking.

In terms of safety, the Denza N9 features a 2,000MPa thermoformed steel cage body and CTB battery-integrated technology.
It comes standard with nine airbags and has set industry records in blowout stability control—remaining stable at speeds of 180 km/h on straight paths, 144 km/h on curves, and 77 km/h on icy roads after a blowout.

Its elk test score reached 85.7 km/h, and its fishhook (rollover) test maintained stability at 160 km/h.
The Denza N9 is also equipped with BYD’s autopilot system called "God’s Eye B", featuring one lidar, 12 cameras, and five millimeter-wave radars.

It supports map-less city navigation, autonomous intersection traversal, and 20cm obstacle avoidance on narrow roads.
Its APA automated parking covers perpendicular, parallel, diagonal, and rainy-night scenarios, with added features like "Smart Car Finder" and the "Spirit Kite” roof-mounted DJI drone system, which supports dynamic takeoff, follow-shooting, and one-click video creation, expanding travel possibilities.

The Denza N9's interior offers a spacious 6.41-square-meter cabin, with a vehicle length of 5,258mm and a wheelbase of 3,125mm.
It provides a unique "Three-Row Full-Flat Large Bed Mode," enabling one-click transitions to cinema, camping, and four-person comfort modes through tri-fold seats.

The N9 also includes 46 storage compartments, six comfortable seats with heating, ventilation, and massage capabilities, catering to both family and business needs.
The SUV also features high-end car features such as an 11L smart cooling/warming fridge, five-zone air conditioning, a 26-speaker Devialet sound system, and a 3.2-square-meter ultra-large panoramic sunroof.
