On April 27, Dongfeng Nissan’s all-new new energy strategic model, the N7, made its debut at the Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention and Exhibition Center.

As the first NEV product under the Tianyan architecture, the N7 introduced an affordable price range of 119,900 RMB to 149,900 RMB, amassing over 10,000 pre-orders on launch day.

The Dongfeng Nissan N7 is positioned as an "ultra-comfortable mid-to-high-end pure electric sedan," designed for mainstream Chinese family users.

At the launch event, Zhou Feng, Executive Vice President of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. and Deputy General Manager of Dongfeng Nissan, emphasized: "The N7 aims to be the most family-oriented pure electric sedan under 200,000 RMB, achieving breakthroughs in three core dimensions: first, inheriting the stringent quality standards of joint-venture brands; second, ranking among the industry’s top tier in intelligent technology; and third, surpassing luxury brand benchmarks in comfort experience."

The Dongfeng Nissan N7’s design development is led for the first time by a local Chinese design team. While retaining Nissan’s global design DNA, it more precisely aligns with the aesthetic preferences of Chinese family users.

The new car adopts a "minimalist beauty, intelligent within" design philosophy, showcasing unique charm through three key highlights: a 0.618 golden ratio body stance for perfect visual balance, a triple wheelbase-to-length ratio for dynamic proportions, and multiple seamless integrated designs for a pure aesthetic.

The N7’s color scheme draws inspiration from nature, featuring six unique shades across two color series: the Inspiration Series (Liquid Silver, Deep Ocean Blue, Frost White, Oat Beige) embodying natural beauty, and the Classic Series (Obsidian Black, Forest Green) interpreting timeless charm.

The car employs top-tier painting processes meeting luxury vehicle standards, utilizing innovative anti-aging technology to promise a decade of paint that looks as good as new.

With "home-like comfort" as its design concept, the Dongfeng Nissan N7 created a warm and comfortable interior space, offerering two distinctive color schemes: a fresh and natural Forest Green/Snow White dual-tone and a minimalist, elegant Gray, both using skin-friendly eco-friendly materials for a soft and delicate touch.

The cabin features a 256-color intelligent ambient lighting system with advanced "light without visible source" diffuse design for even, gentle illumination.

It also boasts a class-leading panoramic sunroof with special coating technology that blocks 99.9% of full-spectrum UV rays, providing comprehensive sun protection and making every journey as comfortable as being at home.

The N7 measures 4,930mm in length, 1,895mm in width, and 1,487mm in height, paired with a 2,915mm ultra-long wheelbase, achieving a class-leading 83% space utilization rate that even exceeds some executive sedans.

The Dongfeng Nissan N7 not only redefines comfort standards for pure electric family sedans but also delivers surprising breakthroughs in driving dynamics.

The new car is equipped with Nissan’s latest self-developed electric drive system, featuring flash-speed electric control technology at 1/10,000-second precision for millisecond torque response and silky-smooth power delivery, achieving 0-100km/h acceleration in just 5.9 seconds.

The Nissan N7 introduces the world’s first "Comprehensive Intelligent Anti-Motion Sickness System," building the industry’s most complete anti-motion sickness solution through four technical dimensions: intelligent chassis control, precise power matching, multi-dimensional cabin adjustment, and driving assistance coordination.

The system employs millisecond adaptive suspension and a proprietary torque buffering algorithm, working with intelligent environmental interaction.

Certified by the China Automotive Technology and Research Center to reduce motion sickness probability by 85%, the N7 becomes the first intelligent EV to receive a "comfortable and non-sickness-inducing" certification, redefining new standards for electric mobility comfort.

The all-new NISSAN OS super intelligent infotainment system in the Dongfeng Nissan N7 sets an industry benchmark, powered by the currently latest in-vehicle Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P flagship chip, paired with 32GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The system will received continuous OTA upgrades and supports seamless switching between wallpaper, map, and 3D desktop modes and introduces dynamic weather functionality for real-time synchronization between cabin and external environments.

The NISSAN OS super intelligent infotainment system combines utility and entertainment for a full-scenario smart mobility experience: its intelligent navigation not only supports green wave speed guidance but also provides precise energy consumption planning.

The OS also features a built-in wireless KTV function that turns trips into mobile karaoke sessions, a popular hobby in China.

The system’s highlight is the AI voice assistant "Xiao Ni," deeply integrated with top AI models like iFlytek Spark and DeepSeek-R1, offering superior semantic understanding to naturally handle various family scenarios like childcare and travel.

The Dongfeng Nissan N7 is equipped with the ProPILOT Super Intelligent Drive 2.0 system, co-developed with Momenta, undergoing 12 rounds of fine-tuning and 76 software iterations for deep integration of algorithms and chassis hardware.

The system features two core functions: Highway NOA and Urban Memory Navigation. On highways, it can intelligently handle complex operations like merging, large vehicle avoidance, and sharp curve navigation; in urban roads, it calmly manages unprotected turns and cut-in scenarios, delivering a veteran-driver-like autonomous experience.

The Dongfeng Nissan N7 features an industry-leading intelligent parking system with an innovative "full-scenario parking solution" capable of handling complex scenarios like angled parking (up to 45-degree tilt), dead-end parking (minimum 0.5m clearance), and ultra-narrow spaces (only 8cm clearance).

Its revolutionary memory parking function supports up to 2km route memory and cross-floor automatic parking (maximum 15% slope), intelligently recognizing dynamic obstacles and performing complex operations like pedestrian avoidance and yielding.

Users only need to learn a route once to enjoy "one-click worry-free" smart parking, improving traditional parking efficiency by 70%.

Each production Nissan N7 car undergoes three extreme tests: first, over 7,400 R&D validation tests covering extreme environments and durability; second, over 5,500 trial production quality checks ensuring component reliability; and finally, over 2,000 mass-production process inspections.

Its core three-electric system is independently developed and produced, with battery packs passing 23 safety tests and the electric drive system achieving zero failures over 100,000 km.

The N7 also passed 146 ultra-high-standard battery safety tests. According to 2026’s new national standards, the N7’s battery not only meets all 24 standard tests but also fulfills three additional extreme requirements: thermal diffusion protection (no spread at 800°C), bottom impact resistance (no deformation under 10-ton force), and fast-charge cycle durability (safety maintained after 1,000 fast charges).
