The AUDI brand, styled in all capital letters and launched in November 2024, uses a new logo replacing Audi’s iconic four rings and focuses solely on premium electric vehicles for the Chinese market. The E SUV Concept previews the forthcoming AUDI E8 SUV, planned for production and market launch in 2026.

The full-size electric SUV measures 5,057 mm (199.1 inches) long with a 3,060 mm (120.5 inches) wheelbase, nearly matching the footprint of the combustion-engine Audi Q7. It features design elements carried over from the AUDI E5 Sportback, including wraparound front and rear lighting, flush door handles, camera-based mirrors, and fin-shaped C-pillars. The front prominently displays the AUDI wordmark instead of the four-ring logo.

The AUDI E SUV rides on the Advanced Digitized Platform (ADP), jointly developed by SAIC and Audi. Its powertrain consists of dual electric motors producing a combined 500 kW (671 hp / 680 PS), driving all four wheels via quattro all-wheel drive. The vehicle accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0–62 mph) in approximately five seconds.

Energy storage is provided by a 109 kWh battery pack operating at 800 volts. Under the China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle (CLTC), the SUV achieves a range exceeding 700 km (435 miles). It supports fast charging, replenishing roughly 320 km (199 miles) of range in 10 minutes at compatible DC chargers.
