HIMA (Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance), an automotive partnership led by Huawei, announced that the Maextro S800 will unveiled will be on November 26 at 14:30PM CST at the Huawei Mate brand ceremony.
HIMA members include Seres Group (AITO), Chery (Luxeed), BAIC BluePark (Stelato), and the latest joiner, JAC Group (Maextro).

The S800 will be the first model of the Maextro brand, positioned as an ultra-luxury vehicle with a 5.5 meters long body length.
The vehicle is a D-class executive sedan that benchmarks against the likes of Maybach and Rolls-Royce.

Such market positioning will command a commensurate pricing, expected within 1 million CNY.
While the front face of the car has yet been released, 拉面师傅Design, well-known visual renderer in China, released unofficial renderings of the Maextro S800, which showcases a very distinct headlight design.

On November 22, the brand officially launched its Weibo account, called “Maextro Auto” or “尊界汽车“.
Huawei’s executive director, Richard Yu (Yu Chendong), had announced on November 21 that the Maextro S800 would surpass 99.99% of cars on the road and will be “grand and majestic”.

Richard is also Huawei’s Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Consumer BG, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Intelligent Automotive Solution BU, and Director of the Investment Review Board for Smart Devices and Intelligent Automotive Components.
