Onvo President Shen Fei handed over the milestone vehicle during a ceremony at the city’s East Coast Park Campground, the company announced on its official Weibo account.
The delivery follows the production of Onvo’s 100,000th vehicle three days earlier on October 15, when the brand’s L90 SUV rolled off the production line.

Onvo crossed the 10,000-unit mark in November 2024, 30,000 in February 2025, and 50,000 in June 2025—doubling that figure within four months.
Onvo has delivered at least 9,721 vehicles in October to date, based on cumulative delivery data of 90,279 units through September.
In September, the brand sold 15,246 vehicles, accounting for 43.9% of Nio’s total monthly deliveries of 34,749 units.
Shen noted on Weibo that while 100,000 units is not remarkable in the broader auto market, it is a “new beginning” for a young pure-electric brand.

Onvo’s rapid scale-up is supported by Nio’s battery-swapping network. Nio currently operates 3,525 swap stations in China, with 2,173 accessible to Onvo users.
Owners have used the service 1.78 million times, saving roughly 83.9 million minutes of charging time, according to the company.
The brand’s owner data also highlight its target audience: 80% of Onvo owners are family users, and 70% have at least one child.
About 40% of buyers were born in 1990 or later. Collectively, Onvo vehicles have covered 874 million kilometers, with 206 million kilometers under assisted driving mode.

Onvo launched in May 2024 as Nio’s move into the family-oriented mass EV market, complementing the parent brand’s premium positioning. Its first model, the Onvo L60, a five-seat electric SUV, was introduced in September 2024 as a direct competitor to Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA)’s Model Y.
The L60 is priced between 206,900 CNY and 235,900 CNY (c. $29,100–$33,200) with a range of 555–730 km (345–454 miles).

The larger Onvo L90, launched on July 31, 2025, offers six- and seven-seat layouts and a driving range of up to 605 km (376 miles). Priced between 265,800 CNY and 299,800 CNY (c. $37,400–$42,200) for full purchase or 179,800 CNY–213,800 CNY (c. $25,300–$30,100) with battery leasing, it began deliveries on August 1.
The L90 has already achieved 20,000 deliveries in under two months, setting a record as the fastest-delivered large SUV among Chinese EVs.
Onvo’s 100,000-unit milestone came just 385 days after its market debut, ranking it among the top two fastest-growing pure-electric new entrants in China.
