On September 14, Weibo user by the name of @布莱克 posted pictures of the upcoming facelifted Onvo L60 without camouflage, showing a familiar exterior design with new wheel hubs.

Onvo President Shen Fei previously stated that the L60 facelift will add dual wireless charging for the front seats (currently a single wireless charging on the driver’s side) and the rear seats will offer ventilation as standard. The spy picture also suggest that Onvo will offer a new gold paint option.

The L60 will reportedly also feature a full-cabin sunshade, blue light protection, and a hidden ETC device. Customers will also gain access to more customization choices, including two Nappa leather interior trims, and a rear right-side folding table borrowed from the larger L90.

Energy efficiency has also been optimized. The rear-wheel drive model’s energy consumption has been reduced to as low as 11.9 kWh per 100 km, from 12.1 kWh/100 km, while the all-wheel drive version is optimized to 12.4 kWh (vs 12.7 kWh).

In other words, we can expect improved driving range from the CLTC estimate of 555 km (c. 345 miles) and 730 km (c. 454 miles) on the rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions, respectively.

These improvements are notable as the base model (RWD) will now match Tesla Model Y’s base model’s energy efficiency rate of 11.9 kWh per 100 km. Meanwhile, the L60’s AWD version closes the gap with the Model Y LR’s efficiency of 12.2 kWh per 100 km.

On the software side, Onvo has added new AI-based practical functions, such as space-based Q&A, alongside improvements to the company’s in-car assistant.

These updates, along with the energy optimizations, will be delivered via OTA to both new and existing L60 owners by the end of September.

At the moment, the current L60 starts at 206,900 yuan (c. $29,100 USD) with 555 km driving range on the Chinese CLTC cycle, and the Long Range version will offer 730 km starting at 235,900 yuan (c. $33,200 USD).
