On August 28, Onvo unveiled the 7-seater version of its flagship L90 SUV, just one week after NIO unveiled the 3rd gen NIO ES8.

Pricing remains as previously announced, starting at 271,800 yuan (185,800 yuan with BaaS) for the Pro version, 285,800 yuan (199,800 yuan with BaaS) for the Max version, and 299,800 yuan (213,800 yuan with BaaS) for the Ultra version.

In other words, the 7-seater option comes at just 6,000 yuan more expensive than the 6-seater L90 for the Pro and Max versions. Meanwhile, the Ultra version is priced the same for both 6 and 7-seaters.

The Onvo L90 was launched on July 31, 2025 with a price of 265,800 yuan, or 179,800 yuan with battery-as-a-service, which took the auto industry by surprise.

The new 7-seater option uses a 2+3+2 row configuration with a one-button control to fold the second row seat to widen the opening to 670 mm. making it easy to get on and off the third row.

The second row’s foldable armrest is 285 mm wide and integrates various functions such as a mobile phone slots, cup holders, and storage boxes.

The second and third row seats can all be folded down with one click, creating a 2,200 mm long and 1,380 mm wide space.

Even front seats can be folded down to form an even larger flat surface, ideal for in-car camping, with 3,150 mm of length and 1,380 mm of width.

According to Onvo’s configuration page, similar to the 6-seater option, the 7-seater L90 will require between 8-10 weeks for delivery.
