On December 13, Tesla’s Vice President of Foreign Affairs Tao Lin announced that the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y has collectively won 4 first places in the 2024 China NEV Industry Customer Satisfaction Index (NEV-CACSI) evaluation released by China Quality Association.

The China Quality Association has carried out and released evaluation results since 2015.

Consumer intelligence is gathered through face-to-face and telephone interviews, as well as online surveys.

Tao Lin praised CACSI’s globally standardized assessment methodologies and its authoritative and scientific approach in evaluating consumers’ experience.

She further recognized the Tesla China team’s efforts in delivering outstanding products and direct services.

1. BEV Medium-size Sedan User Satisfaction Index

To start off, Tesla Model 3 ranked first in user satisfaction alongside the NIO ET5 Touring with an index score of 80.

They are followed closely by the BYD Seal, Deepal SL03, XPeng P7, and Toyota bZ3 with a score of 79.

2. BEV Medium-size SUV User Satisfaction Index

Tesla’s Model Y also topped the chart for medium-size SUVs, ranking first with an index score of 81.

The XPeng G6 and AITO M5 followed with a score of 80 and the Deepal S7, NIO ES6, and BMW iX3 rounded the 3rd places with 79.

3. Sales Service User Satisfaction Index

Tesla ranked first on sales service satisfaction with an index score of 83, followed by Leapmotor and AITO with 82.

Third rank includes Li Auto, Zeekr, NIO, BYD, and XPeng.

4. After-Sales Service User Satisfaction Index

Tesla’s fourth 1st place came from after-sales service user satisfaction, scoring 82 on the index, matching NIO.

Li Auto, BYD, and AITO came second with 81, while Leapmotor and XPeng rounded the third places with 80.

Tesla China gets Musk’s recognition

Tesla China continues to deliver outstanding results in 2024, selling over 21,900 vehicles through the 49th week of 2024, from December 2-8, the second-best weekly sales performance of Tesla this year.
