Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) has introduced a collectible magnetic-levitation model of its Cybertruck on its official China website, priced at 999 CNY (c. $140). The product will be available for purchase starting 10:00 a.m. on November 12, 2025.

The launch brings to China a collectible that was previously released overseas in December 2023, where it sold out shortly after release. The decision to introduce it in China follows continued interest in Tesla-branded collectibles and accessories among Chinese customers.

According to Tesla’s official product listing, the 1:24-scale Cybertruck replica uses magnetic-levitation technology to hover above a weighted base. When the base is powered, the model can remain suspended in midair and can rotate when gently nudged.

The model measures 22.8 cm in length, 8.3 cm in width, and 6.0 cm in height and weighs 293 g, while the base weighs 1,291 g. The square base measures 15.6 cm × 15.6 cm × 3.25 cm and includes 14 built-in LED lights that illuminate the headlights and taillights.

The Cybertruck replica’s body is coated in silver paint to match the finish of the full-sized electric pickup. The package includes one model vehicle, one magnetic-levitation base equipped with a USB-C charging cable, and a 12 V AC adapter.

Tesla’s assembly instructions specify that the base must be plugged into a power source and placed on a flat, non-metal surface. The model should be held vertically above the centre of the base and slowly lowered until magnetic resistance is felt. When the magnetic fields align, the vehicle balances and levitates once released.

Whether the launch of the levitating model will lead to additional Cybertruck-themed releases or foreshadow broader preparation for the vehicle’s eventual introduction in China remains to be seen.
