Tesla Cybertruck Spotted In The Netherlands With Albanian License Plate

| Dec 30A Tesla Cybertruck electric pickup was recently spotted in the Netherlands, bearing an Albanian license plate.
Tesla's Chief Cybertruck Engineer, Wes Morrill, shared the photo on X (Twitter).
According to X user Dénis van Vliet, the photo shows the Cybertruck driving on a highway in Eindhoven, Netherlands.
Morrill later commented, "The first Cybertruck registered in the EU driving in the Netherlands? Someone will figure it out."

When asked how European buyers could register the Cybertruck, Morrill humorously replied, "Make friends."
He later clarified that he had previously overlooked other registered Cybertrucks, indirectly confirming that there were already Cybertrucks registered in Europe.

Further investigation by van Vliet confirmed that the owner of this Cybertruck is rapper Kosso.
Kosso had previously discussed purchasing the vehicle in Oisterwijk and considered using Czech or Albanian license plates.
Belgian media Nieuwsblad reported that this Cybertruck was also spotted in Lanaken, Belgium, further confirming Kosso as the owner.
Earlier this year, reports indicated that some Cybertrucks had already been registered in the EU.
A French Tesla advisor revealed that the first Cybertruck was registered in the Czech Republic, but did not disclose the specific registration method.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated at the annual shareholder meeting in June that the company might expand Cybertruck sales beyond North America in 2025, but this year "definitely limited to North America."
He also hinted at the possibility of launching versions of the Cybertruck specifically designed for the European and Chinese markets.
Previously, many had expressed concerns about whether the vehicle could meet European pedestrian safety regulations.

Tesla has been showcasing the Cybertruck globally, demonstrating its ambition to introduce the vehicle to other countries.
Throughout most of this year, the Cybertruck has been exhibited in various countries across Asia and Europe. Tesla first announced plans to introduce the Cybertruck to the UK and parts of Europe in April this year, following exhibitions in China, Japan, and other parts of Asia.
On December 11, Tesla received an official “Automobile Energy Consumption Label” from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in China, hinting that the Cybertruck is one step closer to regulatory approval.

In March, Tesla also showcased the Cybertruck at its Berlin Gigafactory, but these and other vehicles in the global tour did not appear to be registered.
Early this year, rumors suggested that the Cybertruck had been registered in Europe, but these vehicles were likely imported by buyers after purchasing them in North America.
