The long-range rear-wheel-drive model immediately becomes the longest-range Model 3 available worldwide with a claimed 830 km CLTC range, while the high-performance version gains modest improvements to range and acceleration.
Tesla says it uses a 78.4 kWh ternary-lithium battery pack and is rated at 830 km (c. 516 miles) on China’s CLTC test cycle. Two wheel and tire packages are offered, resulting in an official 830 km or 800 km (c. 497 miles) range.

Acceleration to 100 km/h is listed as 5.2 seconds and the new variant starts at 269,500 yuan (c. $37,500). Buyers who order before 31 August receive five-year zero-interest financing, an 8,000-yuan paint-option credit and a choice of charging benefits.
Tesla also offers free transfer of existing assisted-driving features on trade-ins. Underneath, the car adopts a new “3D6” rear motor that produces 225 kW—31 kW more than the previous single-motor Model 3—providing stronger performance without moving to dual motors.

The Performance all-wheel-drive version launched alongside the Long Range rear-wheel-drive model. It retains a dual-motor layout and is rated at 647 km (c. 402 miles) CLTC range, a 24 km range improvement over the 2024 performance model.
Tesla lists a 0–100 km/h sprint of 3.1 seconds and a price of 339,500 yuan (c. $47,300). Similar promotions apply: an 8,000-yuan paint-option voucher, an 8,000-yuan insurance subsidy and free transfer of existing assisted-driving rights.

For customers seeking more range with all-wheel-drive, Tesla continues to offer the Long Range AWD variant at 285,500 yuan (c. $39,700).
That version delivers a 753 km (c. 468 mile) CLTC range and 3.8 second acceleration. The entry-level rear-wheel-drive Model 3 remains available at 235,500 yuan (c. $32,800) with a 634 km (c. 394 mile) range and 6.1 second 0-100 km/h time.
