Today, Tesla's China WeChat mini program indicated that Tesla has begun rolling out the 2024.45.32.12 software update to customers in batches.

This OTA software update mainly enhances "Urban Road Autopilot Driving Assistance," allowing Autopilot to be used on controlled access roads (major roads with on-ramps and off-ramps) and urban roads.

The system will guide the vehicle through ramps and intersections according to the navigation route, recognize traffic signals, perform straight driving, left turns, right turns, U-turns, and automatic lane changes based on speed and route.

Without a set navigation route, the system will choose the optimal road based on actual road conditions.

The revamped Model Y offers two power configurations. The rear-wheel drive (RWD) launch edition is priced at 263,500 CNY, with a CLTC range of 593 km and 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 5.9 seconds, with a top speed of 201 km/h.

The Long Range all-wheel drive (AWD) launch edition is priced at 303,500 CNY, with a CLTC range of 719 km, 0-100 km/h acceleration in 4.3 seconds, and the same top speed of 201 km/h.

The Model Y “Juniper” RWD and Long Range AWD are extremely energy efficient, consuming only 11.9 kWh and 12.4 kWh per 100 km, respectively.

The new Model Y features body lines inspired by the Cyber series design language.

The front and rear lights have been completely redesigned, with the rear featuring a distinctive diffuse tail light design.

The vehicle's aerodynamic efficiency has been further improved with a drag coefficient of 0.22 Cd.

The new Model Y has undergone extensive optimization for comfort. The newly adjusted suspension system improves vibration isolation by 51%, while the rear seats have been extended by 15mm and support one-touch folding, expanding storage capacity to 2,130 liters.

The panoramic glass roof now features a silver coating to enhance heat insulation, and the upgraded NVH (Noise, Vibration, and Harshness) engineering makes the cabin quieter.
