Tesla remains #1 in Hong Kong with 645 vehicles sold in November

In November 2024, Tesla ranked first amongst electric vehicle sales in Hong Kong with 645 units sold, followed by 317 BYD, 201 Zeekr, 187 Denza, 170 BMW, and 158 XPeng.

The best selling EV was the Tesla Model 3 rear-wheel drive with 347 units, followed by the Model Y with 203 sold.

Surprisingly, the third best-selling EV was an MPV, the Denza D9, which is also a best-seller in this class in Mainland China.

On a year-to-date basis, Tesla has sold 8,846 vehicles in Hong Kong, followed by 5,490 BYD and 3,351 BMW.

Tesla delivered 2,978 Model 3 RWD and 2,948 Model Y RWD so far in 2024. BYD Seal follows in third place with 2,905 sold.

In fourth place YTD is again a Tesla, with 2,193 Tesla Model 3 Long-Range dual motor version.

In 2023, Tesla had delivered a total of 9,639 vehicles in Hong Kong. Tesla needs 793 vehicles to be sold in December to outpace last year.

Tesla Model 3 was first delivered in Hong Kong in August 2019 and had become the most popular car brand in the city by August 2020, delivering 912 cars that month, more than any automakers, including ICE vehicles.
