On March 18, CEO Lei Jun announced on Weibo that Xiaomi’s total vehicle deliveries have officially exceeded 200,000 units.

According to Lei Jun’s Weibo post, the 200,000th delivered vehicle was the Xiaomi SU7 in the “Brilliant Magenta” color, a special edition for Xiaomi’s 15th anniversary.

The color features a magenta base with red pearlescent accents, offering a soft indoor texture under certain lighting or a vibrant daytime glow.

The optional upgrade is priced at 9,000 RMB, slightly higher than the regular color’s 7,000 RMB.

Although labeled as a “special edition,” Xiaomi emphasizes that it is not a limited production, and the color is available for all models, expanding options for personalized customization.

An increasing pace to 100,000 delivery increments

From the delivery of its first vehicle on April 3 of last year to achieving 100,000 deliveries on November 13, Xiaomi took just seven and a half months.

Reaching 200,000 deliveries took an even shorter period of four months, achieved on March 18.

Achieving this milestone in under a year is remarkable for a newcomer like Xiaomi in the automotive industry.

Currently, Xiaomi’s monthly vehicle delivery volume is steady at around 20,000 units. Given the strong order backlog, Lei Jun increased the annual sales target of 300,000 units to 350,000 for 2025.

At the current pace, meeting this goal should not be an issue. However, Lei Jun admits that Xiaomi has “reached production capacity limit,” and achieving higher targets will depend on the second-phase factory's production commencement.
