Xiaomi YU7 deliveries will begin in 58 cities nationwide today

On July 5 evening, Xiaomi Group Founder, Chairman, and CEO Lei Jun announced "The first deliveries of the Xiaomi YU7 will begin tomorrow, simultaneously in 58 cities across the country".

This morning (China time), Lei Jun posted that Xiaomi YU7 would offer a limited-time configuration change option in response to customers’ complaints on the long waiting times, especially on the Standard model, which has an estimated 53-56 weeks waiting time.

From 10:00 AM on July 6 to 24:00 (midnight) on July 7, locked-order users (excluding readily available stock) can participate in these changes.

If a configuration change is successful, production will be re-scheduled, and a new delivery time will be estimated.

This configuration change is strictly limited to modifying versions between the YU7 Standard, Pro, and Max models, or making changes to the existing YU7 order configuration.

Competition in the SUV market is extremely fierce, so we must ensure product quality and accelerate deliveries to get cars to our customers faster".

As of now, among Xiaomi YU7 prospective owners, the average age is 33 years old, roughly 3 years older than SU7 owners. The proportion of female owners is approximately 30%, which is 4.5% higher than for the SU7.

The most popular colors among female users are Flowing Gold Pink and Danxia Purple, while male users most favor Cambrian Gray and Deep Sea Blue.
