According to data released by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) on November 10, 2025, Xiaomi Auto achieved 48,654 retail sales of new energy vehicles in October 2025.
Among them, the Xiaomi YU7 model accounted for 33,662 units, surpassing Tesla’s Model Y in domestic sales for the first time.
Tesla’s total wholesale volume in October was 61,497 vehicles, including 35,491 exports, which means domestic sales were just 26,006 units. Of the deliveries made in China, the Model Y accounted for 19,488 units, while the Model 3 sold 6,518 units.
In other words, the all-new Xiaomi YU7 outsold the Model Y by nearly 73%, or by over 14,000 units in October.

This marks another milestone for Xiaomi Auto, as the company announced on November 1 that its monthly deliveries had consistently exceeded 40,000 units.
The YU7 began deliveries on July 6, 2025, and by September 25, total deliveries had already surpassed 40,000 units. With the new October figures, cumulative YU7 deliveries have now exceeded 70,000 units, nearing the 100,000-unit milestone.
Additionally, Xiaomi Auto is expected to roll out its 500,000th vehicle by the end of November 2025, just 1 year and 8 months after the brand’s first deliveries — a record pace compared to traditional automakers (which typically take 5–10 years) and even faster than major EV startups.

At the 2025 Lei Jun Annual Speech and Xiaomi 17 Series Launch, Xiaomi’s founder and CEO Lei Jun highlighted the YU7’s strong momentum as proof of the company’s competitiveness in the new energy vehicle market.
