XPeng breaks another sales record and aims for 40,000+ deliveries in September

On September 1, XPeng announced that it has delivered 37,709 new vehicles in August, a year-on-year increase of 169% and a 3% increase from the previous month. This marks a second consecutive month of new record for XPeng’s single-month deliveries.

XPeng also stated that from January to August 2025, the company delivered a cumulative total of 271,615 vehicles, up 252% year-on-year.
XPeng Chairman and CEO He Xiaopeng added that monthly deliveries will exceed 40,000 in September, helped by the all-new P7 debut.

The P7 order volume has already surpassed that of the MONA during the same launch period. Customer traffic and test drives during the first weekend also set new historical records.
Within just seven minutes of launch, the P7 received over 10,000 locked-in orders, setting a record for the fastest new model to reach that milestone in XPeng’s history.

In August, deliveries of the XPeng MONA M03 exceeded 15,000 units, bringing total deliveries past 160,000. August 27 marked the first anniversary of MONA’s launch, and since its debut, monthly deliveries have consistently exceeded 10,000 units, setting new records in the compact (A-class) pure electric sedan market.
Its AI-powered SUV, the G7, has surpassed 10,000 cumulative deliveries as of August and ranked first in weekly sales among its class for four consecutive weeks.

In addition, the 2025 XPeng X9 has continued strong sales since its global launch, becoming the top-selling pure electric MPV in both Hong Kong and Thailand.
The G6 saw an 11% month-on-month increase in August. Thanks to its strong product competitiveness, the 2025 XPeng G6 has maintained solid demand since facelift, with steadily rising deliveries. So far, the G6 has been launched in over 30 countries and regions.

XPeng also plans to launch its first model equipped with the Kunpeng Super Electric System—the XPeng X9 extended-range version—in the fourth quarter of 2025.
In the future, every XPeng model will offer both pure electric and Super Electric powertrain versions.
