XPeng released official images of the refreshed XPeng G6 and announced that the new car will officially debut on February 28.

According to XPeng Chairman He Xiaopeng, the new XPeng G6 has replaced 34% of its primary assembly parts and upgraded 81 features.

Currently, the official guide price for the on-sale XPeng G6 is between 199,900 and 276,900 CNY.

The XPeng G6 was first launched in June 2023 as a mid-size pure electric SUV.

Based on the official images, the exterior design of the new XPeng G6 are basically consistent with the current model on sale, with minor adjustments made.

Among them, the new daytime running lights are upgraded with a through-type design, similar to the new Tesla Model Y, and the brand logo is moved up to the front hood area.

In addition, the new XPeng G6 features a "small duck tail" design on the upper edge of the rear taillights, and the hidden door handle design is retained.

According to reports, the dimensions of the new XPeng G6 are 4,758/1,920/1,650 mm, with a wheelbase of 2,890 mm.

The car length has increased by 5 mm, while the other dimensions remain the same as the current model on sale.

The interior design of the new XPeng G6 is still under wraps, but the overall design layout is expected to have little adjustment.

Notably, it is reported that the new XPeng G6 will adopt the same AI Eagle Eye pure vision intelligent driving system as the XPeng P7+, while the current XPeng G6 is equipped with a lidar.

In terms of power, the new XPeng G6 has only applied for a single motor version with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).

The maximum power of the drive motor is 218 kW, which is the same as the single motor version currently on sale.

Whether a dual motor version will be available is yet to be confirmed. For reference, the current XPeng G6 dual motor version adopts a layout of a front induction asynchronous motor and a rear permanent magnet synchronous motor, with a total drive motor power of 358 kW and a total torque of 660 Nm.

As for the battery and range, it is reported that the new XPeng G6 can be equipped with either a 68.5 kWh or 80.8 kWh battery pack.

The pure electric CLTC range is 600/625 km and 700/725 km (the range difference for the same capacity battery pack may be related to the rim specifications).

In the domestic market, other popular mid-size pure electric SUVs with similar prices to the XPeng G6 include the Tesla Model Y, Onvo L60, Luxeed R7, and Zeekr 7X.
