FAW-Volkswagen Launches 2025 ID.4 CROZZ with 601 km Range

FAW-Volkswagen has officially the 2025 ID.4 CROZZ, introducing four new variants with prices ranging from 194,900 to 298,600 CNY, and a limited-time launch price range of 149,900 to 298,600 CNY.
Volkswagen sells two joint-venture ID.4 in China, the ID.4 CROZZ produced by FAW and the ID.4 X produced by SAIC.

The CROZZ, compared to the X, is closer to the design of the European version of the ID.4 and is slightly more compact than the X, measuring 4,592 mm in length (4,612 mm for the ID.4 X), 1,852 mm in width, 1,629 mm in height (1,640 mm for the X), and 2,765 mm in wheelbase.
The 2025 ID.4 CROZZ is available in both single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive versions.

The rear-wheel drive version delivers a maximum power of 170kW, while the dual-motor all-wheel drive version offers a maximum power of 230kW.
The new car will feature battery capacities of 55.7 kWh and 80.4 kWh providing CLTC comprehensive range options of 442 km, 560 km, and 601 km.

The new ID.4 features a "Morning Mist Green" exterior color and a "Dark Knight" interior package.
Additionally, the new model has removed decorative elements from the front fenders and front doors.

The central control screen has been upgraded from 12 inches to 12.9 inches equipped with the latest ID. Software 5.0 infotainment system.
The upgraded system includes enhanced connectivity features, a new interactive interface, the ID.Mate intelligent assistant, voice-activated navigation, and app-based vehicle control.

The navigation system now supports lane-level guidance for more precise routing and includes recommendations for new energy vehicle routes.
Voice interaction has also been improved, offering smoother wake-up and recognition, as well as continuous conversation capabilities.

Additionally, the new model includes upgrades in intelligent driving features, such as interactive lane change assistance, RPA intelligent remote parking assistance, and TPA memory parking assistance.
In terms of safety, the new ID.4 CROZZ is equipped with six airbags, head curtain airbags, and a 140L ultra-large passenger airbag.

It has completed nearly 200 airbag deployment algorithm stability tests and 197 battery pack safety tests.
FAW-Volkswagen offers several launch benefits for the 2025 ID.4 CROZZ, including an 8-year/160,000 km warranty for the three electric components, a 3-year/100,000 km vehicle warranty, a 1,000 yuan Minion set, a 5,000 yuan infotainment system upgrade, a 1,000 yuan electric card for additional purchases, a 2,000 yuan trade-in subsidy, and a complimentary FAW-Volkswagen smart wall box.
