On March 18, Tesla announced on Weibo that the price for the refreshed Model Y Long-Range All-Wheel Drive version has increased by 10,000 RMB, now starting at 313,500 RMB (about c. 43,300 USD).

The price for the rear-wheel-drive version remains the same, with new financing options of 3-year interest-free or 5-year low-interest financing options, with monthly payments as low as 3,808 RMB (c. 525 USD).

Currently, Tesla China's website indicates a delivery period of 2–4 weeks for the refreshed Model Y.

Additionally, Tesla China announced on March 17 a limited-time free trial for its Full Self-Driving (FSD) software, which typically costs 64,000 RMB ($8,850 USD).

The trial runs from March 17 to April 16, with activation depending on the vehicle's rollout schedule, which may vary due to staggered updates.

The refreshed Model Y, officially launched on Tesla China's website on January 10, offers two versions: the Rear-Wheel Drive version starting at 263,500 RMB and the Long-Range All-Wheel Drive version starting at 303,500 RMB.

Deliveries for the refreshed Model Y began on February 26 in China, completing the transition from older models. Weekly sales have since normalized.

The Model Y remains Tesla's best-selling model in China, topping the country's overall automotive sales charts with over 480,000 units sold in 2024.

However, Tesla's global sales have faced challenges recently. In February, Tesla China reported wholesale sales of 30,688 vehicles, a -49% year-on-year change and sales decline across the U.S. (-5%), and Europe (-70.6% in Germany).
