Last week, we reported that Tesla had delivered a total of 30,688 vehicles in February at the wholesale level (including domestic and export sales), a 49.2% YoY decline.
Of those, 26,777 vehicles were delivered in China, including 18,771 Tesla Model 3. Exports only accounted for 3,911 units, compared to 29,535 vehicles exported to global markets in January.

The significant drop in Model Y deliveries should not be a surprise as Tesla has been retooling to prepare for mass production and delivery of the Model Y facelift, previously codenamed “Juniper”.
