On June 12, Chery premiered the Fulwin A9L sedan at the 2025 International Auto & Supply Chain Expo (Hong Kong) and is expected to be priced between 150,000 and 200,000 RMB (c. $21,000 - 28,000) in China.

The new vehicle is set to begin presales on June 25, officially launch in early July, and plans to hit global markets in the first quarter of 2026.

Under the hood, the Fulwin A9L combines Chery's independently developed Kunpeng Super Energy Electric Hybrid C-DM 6.0 system with stepless DHT Pro transmission.

Tested CLTC comprehensive range can reach over 2,500km, with a pure electric range exceeding 260km. Its 0-100 km/h acceleration pushes it into the 4-second club.

During its development, Chery Automobile fully embraced a user co-creation model. They conducted extensive market research across five continents, gathering feedback and suggestions from over 5 million users.

This meticulous process not only empowered every user to become a "designer" of the Fulwin A9L but also ensured the vehicle, from its very inception, closely aligned with the diverse mobility needs of global users.

The Fulwin A9L features a closed front fascia with the striking Fulwin logo on the hood. A full-width light strip connects the slim headlights on both sides, visually widening the car.

The side profile boasts a sleek fastback design, complemented by flush door handles to achieve a drag coefficient of only 0.23 Cd. The rear features privacy glass and a through taillight design.

The Fulwin A9L’s body paint uses an 8-layer nano-grade paint process, delivering superior brightness and texture.

Every panel gap is precisely engineered to 0.1mm, and each joint features a sound-insulating layer, all contributing to a higher-quality driving experience for users.

Measuring 5,018mm long, 1,965mm wide, and 1,500mm high, with a 3,000mm wheelbase, the Fulwin A9L offers segment-leading space, providing passengers with a roomy and premium experience comparable to luxury vehicles.

The interior cabin features a dual-tone color scheme, 15.6-inch floating central control screen, LCD instrument panel, and two-spoke multi-function steering wheel.

The Fulwin A9L features Chery Automobile's next-gen technologies, including the Lingxi Smart Cabin 2.0, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8255 chip and an AI large model.

Paired with a 23-speaker audio system, it enables "what you see, you can say" voice interaction for a highly intuitive human-machine interface.

The integration of the Falcon 700 driving assistance system ensures the vehicle performs effortlessly even in complex road conditions.

With 27 high-precision sensors, it supports full-scenario intelligent assisted driving, maintaining control even in extreme weather like rain and fog.

The Fulwin A9L is all about safety. The large saloon features the Panshi Body 2.0, which boasts 88% high-strength steel and aluminum, a 100% hot-formed steel core framework for the front passenger cabin, and the 41-layer protected battery.

At the expo, Chairman Yin Tongyue revealed that Chery will soon exceed 5 million in cumulative vehicle exports, the first Chinese automaker to achieve the feat.

The company also confirmed its intention to raise additional proceeds through IPO to further its research and development and overseas expansion.
