On November 18, XPeng Motors announced an official cooperation agreement with International Motors Ltd. (“IML”), a major distributor for automotive manufacturers in European markets, including UK, Ireland, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania.
IML has been in operations for nearly 50 years and has had strong partnerships with Hyundai, Daihatsu, Subaru, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, and GWM ORA (from China) in the UK market.

IML’s operations include distribution, aftersales, car finance, logistics, spare parts, accessories, and pre-delivery inspection.
XPeng also announced that the first model entering the UK market will be the XPeng G6, a coupe-SUV positioned against the Tesla Model Y.

Since its international debut in Norway in late 2020, XPeng has expanded its European footprint to the Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Iceland, Spain and Portugal.
In July, XPeng entered Singapore and as of September, the XPeng G6 has ranked in the top 3 best-selling pure electric SUV.
XPeng has achieved month-on-month growth in export sales for 9 consecutive months as of October 2024.
XPeng G6 alone accounts for the majority of export since June 2024. 3,038 G6 were exported in October, more than any previous months’ cumulative exports.

The company’s second best-selling export model is the XPeng G9, with 457 G9 exported to global markets.
In China, XPeng Mona M03 continues to take the market by storm, with two consecutive months of over 10,000 unit sales.

The XPeng G6 sold 4,751 vehicles in October and has continued to sell at a rate of 5,000 units per month since June.
