On March 27, newly issued automobile energy consumption labels revealed the much anticipated NIO ET5 and ET5T 2025 version’s energy specifications.

These labels are mandatory for all new vehicles sold in China, including electric (EV), hybrid, and fuel-powered models.

These labels give a rare pre-launch snapshot of NIO’s 2025 upgrades to its ET5/T vehicle models.

NIO Founder and CEO William Li previously mentionned that the upgraded ES6, EC6, ET5, and ET5T, commonly referred to as “5566”, will be launched in May and June.

Given that only the ET5/T labels have been issued, the “55” models could debut in May, followed by the “66” models in June.

On February 19, MIIT released declaration pictures revealing the new models facelifted front design.
