On October 23, Zeekr released a five-seater MPV called Zeekr MIX, priced between 279,000 to 299,000 CNY in China.
The MIX is the company’s fifth model and probably the boldest take on MPVs. InsideEVs even coined it as “the Volkswagen ID.Buzz that we wanted”.
This minivan is also the first model to be built on Geely’s latest SEA-M architecture, the same platform used by the 6th-gen Waymo robotaxi.

This compact MPV was first released at the Beijing Auto Show on April 25, 2024. Though it is labeled as “compact” and only measures 4,688 mm in length, don’t be fooled.
This car is truly unlike any other, with such minimal front overhang of 865 mm and rear overhang of 815 mm, this enables supersizing the interior cabin with a wheelbase of 3,008 mm.

The MIX is also 1,995 mm wide and 1,755 mm high, creating ample interior spacing with an in-cabin height of 1,350 mm.
The ground clearance of 165 mm is comparable to that of an SUV, and with a 390 mm floor height, anyone can get onboard without assistance.

To put things in perspective, the MIX’s cabin space utilization rate exceeds 80%, which is about 10% superior than traditional vehicles.
And despite such impressive interior cabin, the MIX still offers ample trunk space of 568L, and over 2,000L when folding the rear seats.

The MIX packed such an incredibly long wheelbase in such small minivan by using a single rear motor that can output 310 kW and 440 Nm of power.
The MPV inherits the design of Stephen Silav, which abandons complex corners and lines, and instead relies on uninterrupted curves and rounded edges.

The smart light curtain at the front continues where the Zeekr 007 and Zeekr 7X left off and is further upgraded with up to 30 different headlight configurations.
You can even customize rolling texts on the light curtain, like “Marry Me” for a proposal.
The MIX features hidden dual B-pillars that does not compromise vehicular safety, with a tensile strength of 2,000 MPa, which can bear 20 tons of weight.

These B-pillars are integrated into the minivan’s sliding doors, which removes typical obstruction coming from the pillar between the front and rear seats.
The front row seats can swivel 270 degrees electrically and the central console is movable, enabling “9+N” seating configurations to simulate the ambiance of a family’s own living room.
Zeekr also offers expansion units such as different-sized foldable island table attached to the central console, expand cup holder, and inflatable mattress.

The MPV’s front wheels can turn up to 50.1 degrees, which enables a turning radius of 4.95 meters.
To put things in perspect, one of the best turning radius of any MPV was the XPeng X9’s 5.4 meters.

also offers autonomous driving assistance named as “NZP” and is equipped with a lidar and dual NVIDIA DRIVE Orin-X with a total processing power of 508 TOPS.
The MIX is built on an 800V architecture and comes with a battery size of either 76 kWh or 102 kWh.
The 76 kWh can achieve a 5.5C charging rate and go from a SoC of 10% to 80% in only 10.5 minutes using Zeekr V3 ultra-fast charging piles.

The 102 kWh Kirin battery offers a CLTC range of up to 702 km and can charge up to 500 km of range in 15 minutes.
Zeekr has over 2,700 charging piles at more than 500 ultra-fast charging stations across China, all capable of 800V charging.
The company has ambitious plans to grow that network to 1,000 ultra-fast charging stations by end of 2024 and over 10,000 by 2026.
