On September 19, 2024, ONVO, a sub-brand of NIO, will officially launch its first electric SUV, the L60.
With a starting pre-sale price of 219,900 CNY, the L60 positions itself as a strong competitor to the Tesla Model Y in China, which starts at 249,900 CNY.
Deliveries are set to begin by the end of September, with the company aiming to reach a sales milestone of 20,000 units per month by 2025.
NIO expects delivery volume to reach 20,000 units by year-end and 10,000 ONVO L60 in December alone.

Reaching 20,000 monthly volume would be a significant milestone, equivalent to nearly half of Tesla Model Y monthly sales volume.
Since the beginning of 2023, Model Y has sold on average over 37,000 units. In August 2024, Tesla sold 45,000 Model Y.
