NIO's affordable EV sub-brand Onvo has launched a new promotional campaign for April, offering customers a five-year interest-free purchase loan and two years of complimentary charging for orders placed before April 30, 2025.

Buyers can secure an Onvo L60 with as little as a 45,000 CNY down payment and monthly instalments of 2,350 CNY.
The promotion comes after NIO Power Head Shen Fei replaced former Onvo President Alan Ai, who stepped down from the role on April 1.

Purchase Incentives
The April promotion package includes several valuable perks for buyers. Customers can get a five-year, zero-interest financing plan worth approximately 18,755 CNY.
The promotion also includes five years of free use of Onvo's advanced driver-assistance system (ADAS), valued at 19,200 CNY, plus 3,000 bonus user points (equivalent to 300 CNY) upon vehicle delivery.
The offer also includes a "Worry-Free” charging package is estimated to worth at least 6,000 CNY, amounting to approximately 2 years of free charging.

This includes 4,000 CNY in charging credits plus an additional 2,000 CNY subsidy specifically for battery swaps.
The estimated at 6,000 CNY value, is calculated based on four average battery swaps per month and remains valid for five years from activation.
These benefits can be redeemed across NIO's comprehensive charging network, including its battery swap stations and third-party charging partners.

Onvo’s lackluster performance
The promotion follows Onvo's underwhelming March 2025 sales performance, where NIO Group delivered a total of 15,039 vehicles - a 26.7% year-over-year increase.
The NIO brand accounted for 10,219 units while Onvo delivered 4,820 units, far from the original target of 20,000 units in March.

Since its market debut, Onvo has delivered 35,542 vehicles, pushing NIO's cumulative sales past the 700,000 cumulative deliveries mark.
These new incentives represent an aggressive push following the leadership change at Onvo.
